Chaos Rush ("the App") is developed by Outer Limits Media. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Account Information (Optional)

If you choose to create an account, we collect:

• Username - Your chosen display name for leaderboards
• Email address - Used for password resets, security alerts, and account-related notifications. We do not send marketing emails.
• Password - Stored securely using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt)

If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information you choose to share (email may be hidden via Apple's relay service).

Game Data

When you play with an account, we store:

• High scores and game statistics
• Coins earned and spent
• Items purchased in the in-game shop
• Avatar customization choices

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the game:

• Device identifier - A random ID generated on your device (not your Apple ID or hardware ID)
• Session data - When you open/close the app, game duration
• Game events - Scores, how you died, features used
• Device info - iOS or watchOS version, device model, app version

Analytics are used solely to understand how players use the game and to fix bugs. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Location data
• Health or fitness data
• Contacts or photos
• Browsing history
• Data from other apps

How We Use Your Data

• Display your username on leaderboards
• Save and sync your game progress across iPhone and Apple Watch
• Send password reset emails (if requested)
• Improve game performance and fix bugs
• Understand which features players enjoy

Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
• Passwords are hashed and cannot be viewed by anyone
• We retain data only as long as your account is active

Third-Party Services

• Apple (Sign in with Apple) - If you use Apple Sign In, Apple's privacy policy applies to that authentication
• Apple (In-App Purchases) - Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment information

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking services.

Your Rights

• Delete your account - You can delete your account at any time from the app's account settings. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
• Play without an account - The game is fully playable without creating an account. Your data stays on your device only.
• Data export - Contact us if you'd like a copy of your data.

California & EU Residents

If you are a California resident or located in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell your personal data. Age Requirements & Children's Privacy

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. The app requires users to confirm they are 13 or older during account registration.

Chaos Rush does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game can be played without an account, in which case no personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately at the email below. We will promptly delete the account and any associated data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
